it feels more like doing actual Mathematics, whereas Mathematica and SymPy feel more like programming, but other than that I'm not too sure.
To me it felt a little more "intuitive", i.e. I use Mathematica, which seems to be pretty much the standard in my field (quantum noise of GW detectors).
